It’s Valentine’s Day – everyone is busy in showing his or her love and affection. But, it is a sad day for my dear friend. And I am really feeling sympathetic for what happened with him.
A week ago, he proposed a girl on the Internet. He knew her for sometime, and initially that girl was very much interested in him. She would send 20 SMSes a day – all senty and loving. Very soon, my friend realized that she loves him and he thought to propose her just before the Valentine’s Day. He sent a mail and expressed his feelings to her.
In the evening when I met my friend, he was very excited and that really surprised me. I asked him, what happened? He said: “I proposed a girl to whom you know very well.” Then he narrated the whole story. He also said that his six senses indicate that everything would be fine.
He then said: “If everything goes well and she is ready to come with me then I will borrow some money from friends and will go straight to my place.” He also said that though their parents would never accept this relationship but he is confident enough to solve the issue.
So far, everything was fine… Next day was Sunday and her reply didn’t come. I asked my friend, what happened; did you get any response from her side? He said no – but he is still optimistic. He said: “No one checks mail on Sunday.”
But the truth is truth – she didn’t reply till now. He is somewhat disheartened and his six senses are also not working. I can’t even help him, as it’s a matter of love, and sentiment.
